Nautical Sightings from the Flybridge

Washington Ferries is the mac daddy site which includes ferry schedules, pricing, current conditions, ferry cam, delays, etc. Checkout especially the picture portion and history of the vessels.

Seattle Sailing Club. We recommend calling over email if you want further info but the site shows what fun it's all about. Sadly for us our friend Bob is retiring and sold the business after many outstanding years. Our family will miss seeing Bob and daughter Chris but welcome new owners Jane and Bob. UPDATE:2004 Jane and Matt have done an outstandng job...tell them the Richardsons sent you.

Lakedale Resort offers a great place to room or camp while on San Juan Island. You won't be disappointed in the new lodge overlooking one of their two lakes. We still keep in touch with new friends from their helpful staff.

Staten Island ferry provides 70,000 passengers a day ferry service between St. George, Staten Island and Whitehall street in Manhattan. Luckily they all have a site like www.siferry.com with all the info they need. We thank them for the pictures used on our Staten Island ferry mailbox page.

Paracay.com feature a fantastic selection of nautical publications. They offer it all from high-seas adventure to celestial navigation. If you need to understand or read something nautically related...your shopping can successfully begin and end there. (see link below why else we enjoy them)

Lin & Larry Pardey have written some of the most enjoyable and informative books on sailing. They personally have been huge inspirations to us for reasons not of the ordinary. While my husband went through treatment the "Cruising in Seraffyn" series help transport us out of a hospital room to amazing and beautiful sailing sites all over the globe. We enjoy especially the updates on where they are now. Part of the Paracay.com site.

Land Lubbers

Custom rocking chairs all look alike most think. We'll that has all changed with "Richardson Signature Rockers." Offering the designs of a Master Woodworker of 45 years. Check it out for your opportunity to own an early edition original that only a handful of skilled masters could undertake.

We can guarantee fun! Grab one of Whodunnit's humorous role playing mystery games and invite everyone from new aquaintances to old Salties and let the fun begin. G-rated for the whole family.

More Pie! Ok, while ACBouquet.com doesn't offer pie they do offer a metric blue whale ton (nautical slang) of different gift baskets and bouquets for all occasions. Also, we are proud to supply handcrafted containers for their nautical gift baskets.

Freestone Studio features art of Scott Hale using western landscape scenes as subject matter. We love his ability to bring land, water and light in harmonious convergences. Originals and prints offered.

The Mailbox Ranch are one of a kind originals featuring horses and canines. While we love nautical you can't go wrong with one of Martha's creations.
